Recorded live in Nashville last year, it has finally been mixed and mastered, and is being born in April. Our new live CD, with beautiful new compositions, music from previous years and Brazilian Jazz standards will be available, some preview tracks are available on this website as well.

August 12th, 2007 | Artist in Residence
Mattan is invited to be artist in Residence for the second consecutive year at the JCC Maccabi Artsfest in Deal, NJ in August 2007. As a mentor and educator he will lead a special Jazz workshop teaching Jazz concepts and repertoire, and also sharing from his experience and background.

April 20th, 2007 | Jazz Workshop appearences
Mattan's spring tour will visit cities across the south and Midwest, and will include a return visit at the Nashville Jazz Workshop. The quintet will perform a concert on April 20th and a clinic on the morning of April 21st open to the public. The band will include Manu Koch on piano, Gustavo Amarante on bass, Yuval Lion on drums and a special guest from Rio De Janeiro, Joca Perpignan on percussion. for a complete list of shows please refer to the concert schedule.

Mattan Klein Quintet is going on tour to the Midwest on prestigious stages in Louisville, Nashville and Memphis. Jazz clubs on the itinerary include The Jazz Factory in Louisville KY and The Jazz Workshop in Nashville. Come join us for some quality World Jazz/Fusion if you are in town!

December 2nd, 2004 | Seeds new album: What's New
Seeds of sun recorded a new album this month which will be released in the spring. After mixing we will post a few selections in the Listen and Project sections.

September 26th, 2004 | New Recoerding: Project White Chocolate
After a sold out tour of Israel in September, Project White Chocolate are to release a recording from the concert at the 'Milestone' club in Binyamina on the 'Timeless recordings' label. The concert CD will be available this winter, stay tuned for more information.

April 13th, 2004 | Mattan and the Seeds go to Asia
A trio from Seeds of Sun led by Mattan Klein will be performing in East Asia for audiences in Hanoi, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Manila and Cebu City in The Philippines.

These concerts will feature materials by Israeli, American Brazilian and Yemenite composers, and also originals by Mattan Klein and Seeds of Sun members.
